Three widows meet monthly to visiting their husband’s gravesite and then retreat to Ida’s place to toast the departed. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life while Lucille is the girl who just wants to have fun and play the field. Doris, still tied to her departed, is protective of Ida—especially when Sam the butcher enters the scene. He meets the widows while visiting his wife’s grave. Doris and Lucille try to squash the budding romance between Sam and Ida. They are guilt-stricken when their interference nearly breaks her heart.

The Crumpler Honeycutt Funeral Home-right across the street from the theater-are the sponsors of this unusual "Dramedy". We are happy for their help on this show and for all the things they have done for us over the years.
